I agree that since it’s not a reatail store that the sign is fine. After all it has all the info anyone would need to contact you plus it has a casual feel and what’s more casual than cookies?

If you decide to do a professionally printed sign later let me know and I’ll re-do your logo into a high-res file for a few cookies. But for now I think you are fine and you did an awesome job painting the sign!

Since this is your workspace, and not a retail space that invites walk-in customers, this sign is great! Save the money for other important things…like the Kopykake projector.

I think it turned out great. I would spray a few coats of sealer agreeing with Keith. To keep it from changing color in the window and to keep it lasting. They do have satin so it’s not glossy if that’s not the look you’re going for. Also as you get connections through your shop maybe you can find a graphic designer you can barter with to do your high res. image and a printing company to ultimately do a sign with….in time. Best of luck to you.

You know what I like about you doing it yourself? It mirrors the “look” and “feel” of your cookies themselves! Does that make sense? It just feels like it’s in line with how you do everything with such personal care. I think it’s great!

With the economy as it is, creating you’re own sign is a great idea. It looks pretty awesome and isn’t having fun what life is all about?

Is there a coat of sealer you can apply to make it glossy and keep it around? Excellent job.
