With a sincere Thank You to Elaine of “The Gourmet Girl Magazine”, this is my interpretation of their eye catching, sexy and undeniably irresistible logo (oh, and the cookie tastes pretty darn good too, just ask Elaine)!

I believe it was back in late March of 2009 that I first started tweeting on Twitter. I didn’t have any knowledge of what I was doing but I decided that, in order to grow my cookie business, I’d need to put myself ’out there’ in the world of social media in order to spread the word about our wonderful cookies. In the beginning of my Twitter experience, all I would do would be post ’so called’ advertisements with hopes to drive people to see our website. Soon after that, I was offering to send 3 small free tasting samples to anyone on Twitter who was interested in sampling our cookies for themselves. After all, what good is a cute cookie if you don’t know how good it tastes?
I was thrilled at the response I’d received for my 3 free cookies (go figure, lol) and soon I was mailing out lots and lots of bubble wrapped manila packages that held my hopes and dreams in a few small bites. I addressed and I mailed, not really grasping who I was sending my cookie samples to, just happy to be doing so. Little did I realize, that one of those small envelopes would soon wind up in the hands of Elaine Giammetta of www.gourmetgirlmagazine.com.
It wasn’t long before Elaine contacted me to let me know how much she’d enjoyed her small tasting samples and encouraged me to try my hand at designing her logo on my cookie. What can I say except it’s an eye catching logo that makes for one delicious cookie! Needless to say, I’m thrilled and humbled to be a part of their virtual cookie crawl this holiday season.
I have since made many friends and valuable contacts through the Twitter community and I am thrilled that Elaine is one of them. Kudos to you Elaine! I appreciate your encouragement and support for my little, but growing cookie company. Life is sweet!
Fondly,
Renee of Kudos Kookies
